    Resume Writing - 3 Do's and Don'ts
Do:1) Include a powerful, concise and persuasive objective or summary. How do you do that? Well there are many different ways to grab an employers attention with an objective or summary - some much better than others - but here's a general rule.State exactly what you want to do for the employer (you could give the position you are seeking) and what you have to offer them. (3 years experience, expertise in skill X)2) Use a bulleted list rather than long, redundant paragraphs.Seeing a long list of paragraphs is intimidating. Employers don't have time to read through so much information - they want the facts and they want them quickly. Break up your paragraphs into a bulleted list of accomplishments.3) Organize it.Make your resume look good! A page full of texts "blobs" will turn off any employer. Brea
Stock prices fall into two basic categories; penny stocks (a.k.a. stocks trading under $1.00) and pretty much everything else. To some degree, you can lump stocks under $5.00 into the penny stock category as well. However, keep in mind that this will not always be a fair representation.

Lower priced stocks have a very seductive allure. Not only can you buy large numbers of shares, but also when the stock does move, it typically moves in larger percentage steps. However, that works both ways and there are additional risks with lower prices stocks (typically they are lower volume and this can negatively impact your trading).

Personally, I feel much more comfortable trading a stock that is above $20 if at all possible. Generally, stocks that carry low share prices tend to be more risky. They also tend to be lower priced due to lack of interest from both the public as well as professional investment community. This is not to suggest that there are not good quality low priced stocks - certainly there are. However, especially when you are first beginning, we feel it's best to avoid stocks that trade under $5.00 unless you really know what you are doing. In the end, you usually stand about the same chance of seeing a higher priced stock move 10% as you would seeing a lower priced stock move 10%. Store Fixture Prices
Store fixture prices depend on various factors, mainly customer preferences. Among them quality and capacity are the most important ones. Quality is necessary to keep the fixtures in good condition for longer periods without damage or breakage. Capacity means the ability of store fixtures to hold more items. Fixtures with more capacity and high quality are expensive compared to fixtures of lesser quality. Therefore, persons who are in need of store fixtures should give equal importance to quality and capacity along with prices. It is found that those persons who can balance these three factors properly and select fixtures accordingly for their stores can run business in an efficient and better manner.Store fixture prices vary with the needs of store owners. Some store owners need large fixtures for display. Some other require small and space s

How to Get Rich Quick and Risk Losing Everything
All of us have heard of ‘get rich quick schemes’ – which are termed that for a very good reason – they are often put together by those who are willing to take your money for promises that then don’t pay off. In the worst case scenario, they take your money and run. Or at least take it, invest it in something high-risk, and have no obligation to you or others when all of the money is lost. This isn’t to suggest that you should never take a risk in investing, but it is to say that you should carefully consider any kind of instant wealth promises by asking yourself a few questions.First, realize that if someone is offering you a get-rich-quick opportunity, it is because they need your money in order to help themselves to get rich. There may be a possibility that you will earn something as well, but really what most of these plans entail is getting you

Construction Industry: Women Armed and Dangerous Have Mediators Frustrated
In the recent years, women have transformed from homemaker to a builder and ultimate decision maker in hiring contractors. This trend has been caused because of the labor shortage in the construction field and increasing number of households headed by single women. The introduction of women into this field can be a barrier for the construction mediator in resolving disputes, where for years the field was dominated by men. Mediators have to recognize that men and women negotiate differently. If the mediator uses the ‘one size' fits all approach, his mediation will go down in defeat.Research has shown that women out perform men when they are negotiating on behalf of someone else, such as a client or on behalf of an employer. Women more often than men take a ‘collaborative' or cooperative approach to negotiation that has been shown to produce agr

What Distinguishes You From Your Competitors?
In marketing, U.S.P. is the acronym for unique selling proposition. The USP process answers the distinct question: "What distinguishes your product or service from similar products or services, even businesses as a whole?" After continually battling my wits using other recommended USP models, I developed my own -- a list of 50 questions -- that gave me the same results, but faster. [For simplicity, allow the word product to mean service as well.]First, select an equal, or as closely matched as possible, playing competitor. Even if you sell apples, be careful in choosing your comparison. A Granny Smith apple is different from a Winesap. Even though both are a snack, each taste different and cook different. If you think there aren't any equals, be mindfully open, somewhere there is a close match -- guaranteed.Second, gather whatever

Since this is usually (but not always) the case, there tends to be a little more safety in trading in the higher dollar stocks. Penny stocks can and do sometimes produce amazing short term gains, but unless you really understand the risks associated with these lower priced and often more thinly traded securities, we suggest you stick to more "name brand" stocks which tend to trade at higher per share prices.

Some people really enjoy owning Gold stocks or stocks related to oil drilling or diamond mining. I personally do not. Stocks of these types lack some of the inflation fighting components that traditional businesses provide. As a general rule of thumb, if the stock doesn't produce a product or provide a service, then it's generally best to limit your trading in them, at least in my opinion. Stick to companies that produce a product or provide a service and you never have to worry about hitting a "dry hole" or a sudden drop in the price of Gold or Silver.

It is important not to “chase” stocks. Stocks go up because people (usually large numbers of people) are buying the stock. As a trader, this is usually not a good time to also be buying. As such, be very cautious about buying stocks that are rapidly moving away from you; he true money in stocks is made by buying stocks prior to a sudden mo
