How to Start an LLC in Nevada Registering a limited liability company in Nevada is easy. There are a few basic processes which qualify organizations for LLC status. Any Nevada LLC formation must contain articles of organization that must be signed by at least two persons who are organizing the LLC. These articles should be delivered, along with a copy, to the Nevada Secretary of State, Corporations Division, for filing. Nevada law calls for the inclusion of certain information in the articles. This information to be included in the articles must include several things. The first item required is a business name. The name that is chosen must have either ‘Limited-Liability Company,’ ‘Limited Liability Company,’ ‘Limited Company,’ or ‘Limited’ at the end. Alternately, the name can also contain abbreviations like ‘Ltd.,’ ‘L.L.C.,’’L.C.,’ ‘LLC’ or ‘LC.’ Further, the word ‘company’ can be abbreviated as ‘Co.’ The names selected should also be clearly distinguishable from the names of any other Nevada limited liability company. Additionally, there are several other obligation

Cost of Presenteeism Surpasses Absenteeism I won't say I have a vast array of knowledge as a consultant...collectively I've only been doing it about 8 years. However, there are some things that I have observed that I think will be helpful to those of you who are new to the profession. We will first dispel the myths and address the realities associated with being a Consultant, then we will address the commandments of being a good and valued consultant. The cost of presenteeism has now surpassed the cost of absenteeism. Presenteeism, which refers to sick employees who come to work instead of staying at home, now surpasses $180 billion annually. Absenteeism, where the employee does not report to work, costs $118 billion annually and medical expenses and lost productivity.Employee “illness” can be grouped into five different categories. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) breaks down the impact in this way:1. Personal illnesses account for 35% 2. Family issues make up 21% 3. Personal needs combine for 18% 4. An entitlement mentality accounts for 14% 5. Stress makes up the final 12%The SHRM figures refer to absenteeism alone, therefore may not be applicable in the same percentages to presenteeism. However some presenteeism will fall in each of the categories. This occurs when, for example, an employee has family issues to deal with however they do not feel the entire day needs to be taken off of work. They will make the necessary phone calls CONSULTING: MYTH AND REALITY Myth

Paralegals - What Exactly Do They Do? address the realities associated with being a Consultant, then we will address the commandments of being a good and valued consultant. So, what's a lawyer got that a paralegal does not?Well, there's that law degree diploma hanging on the wall. And that hefty fee that comes with an office visit. While there are some limitations to what a paralegal can do, chances are that most of your attorney's work is done by a paralegal, a legal assistant that he or she trusts to know the law and the documents being prepared. Be thankful - the paralegal fee is far less than the fee would be if an attorney were completing your paper work. Don't worry that your legal work is less effective or efficient because it was completed by someone other than your actual attorney. When the attorney puts his or her signature on a document prepared by a paralegal, the lawyer is verifying that the information is correct. It's just as legal - but probably costing you a lot less - to have the paralegal complete your paper work. There are a lot of duties a paralegal plays in an attorney's office. The paralegal may do legal research and writing for your attorney. A paralegal may even take over CONSULTING: MYTH AND REALITY Myth

The Private Eye make themselves so. You don't have to be an outsider, go out to lunch with your co-workers...talk to them, and befriend them. Just know where to draw the line. The private eye performs a service for a client. Whether it be a private individual or a corporate body [ company or firm ] not the police, military or any other government organisation. The kind of service the private eye performs is usually, but not limited to, the gathering of relevant information about a third party/parties.Because the information required by the client can be very broad and far reaching the private eye needs to be experienced in many investigative methods.A private eye can gain this experience in a variety of ways. He can join a firm of private investigators, he could have served in military intelligence, the police or with a government body.As the field of private investigation is so vast there is a danger the private eye may well become a “jack of all trades and master of none” and so he may decide to specialise. If the private eye decided to become expert in collecting information about the infidelities of a clients spouse to be used in a divorce case, then the bulk of his expertis Myth

What is a Payment System? onsultants have, not only the client to answer to, but also the company they represent. What is a payment system? I am reminded of lengthy debates around the office on just this question - and the heated and, at times, passionate discussion that ensued. My antagonist, who is also my partner, took one view and I took the other. The thrust and parry of the dialogue ebbed and flowed … long into the night over innumerable cups of coffee. The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) definition of a payment system states; “A payment system consists of a set of instruments, banking procedures and, typically, interbank funds transfer systems that ensure the circulation of money”. (From “A glossary of terms used in payments and settlement systems”, Committee on Payment & Settlement Systems. BIS, Basel, Switzerland. March 2003 (Revised Edition)).Armed with this definition we can examine the components that make up what we so glibly refer to as a “payment system”. This examination will help us see what a payment system really is.The BIS definition focuses on “... instruments, banking procedures … interbank funds transfer sy Myth

Get Statements Paid on Time What if your financial coordinator (FC) never had to deal with slow-paying patients again? Cash flow would be healthy and consistent, you would have plenty of money to invest in your business, and you would lower her stress level and yours. Would you be interested in a way to make this happen? I am certain your FC would! For many orthodontic practices the reality is that some patients treat your unpaid statement like it's a free loan. They dismiss phone calls and letters, haggle with your FC and threaten to report you to the ADA for ‘abandonment' when she tells them treatment must be discontinued. They will do any or all of these when they do decide to pay after 60, 90, 120 days or longer. But there is a proven way to get paid faster and on a consistent basis. Here are some numbers you need to consider. After 60 days the likelihood of collecting on outstanding invoices diminishes significantly. According to the Commercial Collection Agency Association you have only a 69.6% chance of collecting at 90 days and at six months it falls to
