I believe it was their suggestion that I could sell it more easily and quickly if I listed it in another category. So I did. I also paid the extra money for the extra listing. Imagine my surprise when a month later they started billing me for $16.00 per month. For what? The ring didn’t sell. I had already paid them their upfront fees. Have you ever tried contacting Ebay to complain about their service? I found this to be impossible. Each time I tried to close my Ebay account I would receive an email on how to delete my PayPal account. Say what? I want my PayPal account, I need my PayPal account. What I don’t want is an Ebay account. I emailed Ebay many times during the course of about six weeks. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I may be a lot of things but one thing I am not, is insane so I wasn’t going to try to contact them by email again. Right now I’m waiting to hear from my credit card company, to see if they had any better success than me. Somehow I doubt they will. It seems once Ebay gets its teeth into you, there’s no letting go. I always thought they had so many members because of their great service. Ha! Now I know. It’s because they won’t let you out of their clutches.
