How Do I Benefit From International Trade
International trade is the exchange of goods and services between countries. This type of trade gives rise to a world economy, in which prices, or supply and demand, affect and are affected by global events. Political change in Asia, for example, could result in an increase in the cost of labor, thereby increasing the manufacturing costs for an American sneaker company based in Malaysia, which would then result in an increase in the price that you have to pay to buy the tennis shoes at your local mall. A decrease in the cost of labor, on the other hand, would result in you having to pay less for your new shoes. Trading globally gives consumers and countries the opportunity to be exposed to goods and services not available in their own countries. Almost every kind of product can be found on the international market: food, clothes, spare parts, oil, jewelry, wine, stocks, currencies and water. Services

    Truth In Advertising
The story I am about to tell you is thought to be apocryphal, which is why I shall refrain from naming names. Nonetheless, it is a classic example of what advertising is - or, rather, should be - all about. It demonstrates that good promotional concepts, the ideas that sell product, are based wholly and solely upon (a) the product story, (b) the benefits of owning said product and (c) the image of the product in the eyes of its potential customers.Step back with me, then, about 40 years, when advertising agencies were less dependent than they are now upon market research, consumer panels, think tanks, marketing strategies, consumer profiles, computer-based market analyses and all the pseudo-scientific claptrap with which agencies are these days lumbered. We are returning to a time, the late 60s, when creative people (writers and designers) ruled the ad agency roost. Indeed, many of the better U
Business in the new millennium means fierce competition, aggressive marketing and strategic alliances. The extent to which a business succeeds or fails often depends upon that business's ability to be awarded contracts or to attract other businesses into Joint Ventures or strategic alliances. To accomplish either one usually requires two key items: good ideas and the ability to present those good ideas in a superbly developed business proposal.

Business proposals are developed for one of two possible reasons.

    (1) A business entity has called for tenders or has invited you to submit a RFP (Request for Proposal). In this case, your goal is to be "short listed," meaning that you will be one of the three or four bidders who is awarded an interview. Your proposal must stand among possibly dozens of submissions.

    (2) You have an idea, concept or project that you want to propose to someone with the goal of gaining support, funding or an alliance. In this case, there is no competitive bidding process. However, your proposal must make a favorable impression and must explain all aspects of your proposed concept clearly and quickly. A document that is vaguely written, difficult to understand or that presents more questions than answers will likely be discarded promptly.

    How to Lead Strategic Change
Many good operational managers are paralyzed by the apparent complexity of strategic change. This paralysis, coupled with the everyday pressures of keeping the business running, means that organizations have skipped this crucial activity in favor of thrusting leadership and rigorous management. However, the problem with this approach is that organizations are pursuing incremental efficiency gains in preference to the more radical and profitable step change offered by effective strategic implementation. So, how do the best operational managers make the transition between the two roles of manager and leader? The answer is that they adopt new ways of thinking in advance of new ways of working. In this article we will explore four key skills that, if mastered, can help you make those first tentative steps towards the Boardroom. The effective strategic executive displays four foundational skills:<

    Becoming An Affiliate Entrepreneur
So you want to make money online. Well, if you want to find information about affiliating, doing a Google search alone will prove to be extremely overwhelming. Where should you go? No matter how high the payout is on a particular affiliate sales program or how low the risks are in building a website to sustain your affiliate networks, there are some things you should look for in an affiliate program to help you make money online  :1. Unique campaigns - Find a product or service that is niche. If it is new, appealing, or something you would purchase as a prospective buyer, than you have something that could generate revenue with. Business Plan Template - What Should be Included in Your Business Plan
Business Plans written with the primary purpose of presenting the company to outsiders differ in format and presentation from a business plan developed as a management tool. While it would benefit the company and management to go through the efforts necessary to establish goals, objectives, strategies and action plans defined near the end of this chapter, outsiders unfamiliar with not only the company, but also possibly the industry and products require a different presentation, with an emphasis on selling the reader on the attributes of the company. A plan for strictly internal use is geared more toward defining specific, measurable performance targets and assigns responsibility for reaching those targets. The business plan document is often the first exposure an investor has to a company seeking financing, often even before talking to the entrepreneur on the phone or having a meeting. Clarity
Before you begin to write the proposal, summarize the concept in 2-3 sentences, then show it to a lay person and check for understanding. If they don't grasp the basic idea, rewrite until they do. Until you can do this, you are not ready to start writing the proposal. How many times have you received a document that you had to read repeatedly before you comprehended the meaning? When this happens, it may be because your comprehension skills are under- developed, but it's more likely that the writer substituted clarity of thought and good document structure with sloppy thinking, wordy, rambling explanations, vague descriptions and heavy reliance on buzzwords and jargon. It's worth saying again: If you can't summarize it in 2-3 sentences, you are not ready to start writing.

Strive to communicate, not to impress
If you have a good idea and you communicate that idea clearly and effectively, the recipients will be impressed. If you try to baffle them with your brilliance, you'll lose ground.

You may not have those resources at your disposal, but you can be fastidious about checking for typing, spelling and grammatical errors. Spell checkers can only go so far; the re
