There was one thing that happened and maybe they are connected, maybe they're not, but... There has been a trend over the past few years of people over 50 beginning new careers. Older entrepreneurs have been emering in the marketplace. Maybe being that age brings on a new self confidence to be able to do this but maybe we've all begun to realize that if we don't actively take care of our future, there won't be one. People over 50 are deciding to go after their passion and forming it into a business. (I realize that you don't have to be over 50 to do this but that has been the trend). Some have starting writing, some open their own restaurant, cafe, bakery, etc. Some are creative and invent things. 3 1/2 years ago I started my own catering service. It has been and is successful and I love the baking, the creative way to market it, and I love meeting new people and visiting with my regular clientele. I also love my business with Advantage Conferences, LLC, which is the business I call my "wealth builder". But no matter what the passion you have, if you desire strong enough (your why) it may be something you could turn into a business, a major enterprise.

Always use wisdom and do your due diligence and do your research about how to set up a business, how to set up your company for tax purposes, etc. There's a lot to figure out but you can do a lot of it online. One of the things I so like about my business with Advantage Conferences, LLC, is---it was all set up before I got in it. Someone else did all the research, all the hard work, all the prayer, all the sweat and I get to come along and reap the benefits. How awesome is that!!!

Anyway, whatever you do, it's your life and one day it will be over. Do what you love and do what will help others!!

In addition to the anger and fear generated by job loss, there is the total emotional devastation of being figuratively thrown on a pile of human debris. First some answers on a not so serious note:1. Make an estimate, then multiply by 2, divide by 0.134263 and take the square root after adding Pi times the estimate times 12.3452. Use a dart board and get some friends together to change the numbers to very high 8 figures.
