    Conservatives like me are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with President Bush and his administration. While many of us still believe in his original policies and war on terror, we feel that President Bush has strayed from his values and is distancing himself from many Americans.

    Many conservatives will argue that “he’s better then Kerry would have been”. So what? That was then and this is now. This is like saying that Scott Peterson isn’t as evil as Ted Bundy because he didn’t kill as many people. Kerry is old news. It is now up to our president to prove himself worthy of the position that the American people put him in.

    I hate to say it but if Bill Clinton would have been in power during this presidency, he would have made our current state of affairs look amazing. That’s because Clinton knew how to relate to the average American and he could articulate his position and policies in a way that could be understood by most people. Clinton was that slick.

    President Bush has a couple of years to turn around his presidency. The only way that he can do this is to put America’s interests first. He also needs to start connecting with Americans and their concerns, especially the fifty one percent who voted for him.
