Ok so in Part 1 I gave you a peek into the mind of the average American male. Now let's look at him in the dating environment. We all know the bar scene is where a lot of the "hunt" takes place. Sure you have supermarkets, private parties, friend hookups and even the Internet but the tried and true is at the bar. Why? Well believe it or not men do not go to the bar just to try and get lucky for the night. Oh sure there are times that yes that is all we are looking for and we might be considered dogs for doing so but ladies you have to admit you go for the same reason. So ladies, that is the typical group you will find at the bar. Which one you go with is up to you. I’ll hazard that you would be better off with the Scanner if you want a real relationship. You will find that they are attentive to your needs, willing to spend time with you providing you let them have their space too. They will treat you like a queen and be loyal to you. However, it’s a two way street. The average male has no problem doing things for you and with you but if he is giving and you are just taking he will tire of the relationship quickly. For example, if you say your back or shoulders hurt he will be quick to rub them for you. Rest assured however that if he is doing all the rubbing and not getting it returned in kind he will stop offering. Take time to show that you appreciate him and he will do the same. Put your arms around him, make him his favorite foods or treats, run a bath for him, offer a back rub out of the blue. He likes the attention and will shower you with love and affection in return. Honey-do lists? No problem. This is your average American male.
