This is required so that the carrier can call the physician in case there are any questions about this claim. Unfortunately, because of all the red tape with oxygen claims, there usually are questions.
GX0 fields 31 - 34, positions 291 - 310, are the four diagnosis codes. These are the diagnosis codes related to what the patient needs oxygen and not to any procedures that were done to the patient for this claim. Those codes are included in the FA0 record.
