5 Tips To Keep Visitors Glued To Your Website
One of the most important and often forgotten website statistics is visitor length.Average visitor length doesn't refer to how tall a person visiting your site is (but wouldn't it be cool if browsers did capture that sort of info - the clothing stores would have a field day!), it refers to how long people stay when they visit your website. Sadly many webmasters find that their visitors usually hang around for about 30 seconds and then click away never to be seen again. One of your primary goals is

    Of Apes and Men
I’ll put on my helmet and body armor and be right with you, today let’s talk evolution. Guns down please! Never before in human history has an issue been so divisive between the theological and secular communities except maybe when Copernicus postulated the earth revolves around the sun instead of the other way around. Why that’s blasphemy! How could God stop the sun if it was the earth turning? And how then could Joshua finish the battle of Jericho? The theological community and the scientific community look at the worl
It was hot yesterday morning and after a brief stroll I found myself in my oasis, 'Yi Da Pan'. I sat in the airconditioned comfort for some time, wishing neither to eat anything nor even sip a chilled beer...desirous only of cooling off until nature willed me to eat or drink something.

The boss of the restaurant came and sat at the table, making offers in his customary warmth to try some fruit or the other. I kept refusing but he asked his wife to fetch me a peach. She handed me a washed one which I thoroughly enjoyed despite my lack of appetite.

We chatted for a while and I sang them a Chinese song 'Ni de Yanshen' (Your Eyes). Later, the boss asked me to try a medicinal wine 'you jiu' which was rather weak but tasted fine. I asked for yet another yellow wine that I had tried before and had a little more kick to it, sharing the small bottle (about 100 ml) with him.

Most of the contents of my glass spilled when I waved my hand at the boss and I asked for another and drank some from it. In the meanwhile, the boss sat down with a small group of people he was familiar with and drank a glassful of baijiu (white rice wine). The Convenience of Online College Degrees
I remember my college days with real fondness. It was a great learning experience and I don’t mean that just in the academic sense. I’m talking about the entire experience, from staying at a dorm to exploring the campus to participating in frat house activities, just a whole wide range of experiences. And I’m not alone; millions of students and former students all over the United States feel exactly the way I do. I would not trade my experience in college for anything. But that said, I think there are also excellent opportuniti

5 Easy Steps to Closing the Sale: Step III
Step III: Talk About Solutions…. Not ProductsAs you’ve been letting your prospect talk, they should be telling you about common problems they have in their business. Some common things you should hear: Like the product. Don’t like the company (vendor).  Like the vendor. Don’t like the product.  Don’t think the product they use is worth what they paid. This is a lack of value. Anytime you have a product that isn’t equal in value to the price the customer paid, they’re not ha

The Effect of Human Emotion on Investment Decisions and the Overall Economy
Economics is simply "the study of life" and the choices we make. Human emotion is perhaps the strongest force in the economic and financial environment. It gets its appropriate level of respect in the real world--and a very short shrift in the land of academia. Human emotion...the need to stay up with the Joneses...the drive to get a great deal...the drive to make a killing on an investment or a property...all can contribute to positive or negative developments in the economy.Fear & Greed...StocksEmotion

Should You Use Credit Counseling Services?

He took large sips from his glass and before I knew what was going on, he was drunk and could not walk straight. Something else happened, too, during this brief time and the laoban's (boss's) wife left the restaurant, apparently annoyed with something - I guess, the laoban's drinking.

Anyway, things got a little out of control and the boss sounded angry as he spoke to his wife on his mobile. He was pretty drunk so I thought it best to ask him to take a nap and managed to force him to lie on a row of chairs that I lined for him. After some time I left, asking Maria, the waitress, to be there until he came to.

In the evening when I returned to the restaurant for my dinner, the boss seemed fine though a trifle puffy-faced. Later, he disappeared and the laoban's wife who is not a great cook gave me a simple dish of cabbage and a bowl of rice. They shut the restaurant early as the laoban was indisposed and had retired early.

This morning, the laoban's wife was at her post, near the door with Maria and welcomed me with a smile. The laoban was seated at my favourite table near the door and we high-fived. I asked him how he felt and what time he woke up. He
