Addiction Treatment: Use of Drugs and Alcohol as Self Medication Can Lead to Addiction
The relationship between drug addiction, alcoholism and mental illness is a complicated one and many times greatly misunderstood. History has shown us that many people who suffer from mental illness turn to drugs and alcohol as a means to self medicate, to tolerate feelings they believe to be intolerable. The problem here is self medicating rarely works in the long run and usually results in a person facing addiction or alcoholism.Using drugs or alcohol as a means of self medicating only makes matters worse. A person with mental health issues should always meet with a psychiatrist who has been trained in the field of addiction and alcoholism (addictionology) for a full psychiatric evaluation. They will always ask about a person’s drug or alcohol use. In far too many cases, drug or alcohol use creates emotional problems which mimic a psychiatric illness and in cases like that, psychiatric medications might not be the answer. If after detox in an addiction treatment center or alcohol rehab, the psychiatric symptoms are still present, then the individual may be a candidate for medication. Now, the real art in addiction medicine and dual diagnosi

    Why the Philippines...
Here in the Philippines if we talk about outsourcing, the first thing that will come to your mind is only the call center industry. But in reality, outsourcing here in the Philippines are subdivided to Medical Transcription, Animation, Shared Financial & Accounting Services, and Software Development Services.Basically Outsourcing begins when a company chooses a consultant or application service provider to manage components of its internal IT structure, staff, processes and applications. This allows the organization to remain focused on its business goals. The Philippines offer those services to US-owned companies who base their outsourcing companies here in the country. Customer contact center or simply call center services, includes a physical location where calls are placed, or received, in high volume for the purposes of sales, marketing, customer service, telemarketing, technical support or other specialized business activity. Those in line with sales have also subdivide labors of inbound and outbound acquisitions, promote customer loyalty programs, take in catalogue orders, and introduce new products. While in research, ca

We live a time of prosperity and freedom, especially in USA. We got so used with shopping options, that these become our second nature. When we want to buy something we have to make a lot of When decisions and relate our decision to price, quality, brand, etc. All these decisions have something in common: our benefit.

When I saw the video on Youtube, I laughed and I cried in the same time. It's funny, but it has a lot of reality in it: churches accommodated so much to the needs of their "customers" and to their business need and they start to look a lot like a corporation.

Today churches are ready to do almost everything to attract people and have a "prosperous business." It was difficult before this to make a choice because there are so many denominations and beliefs, but now is even more difficult because you have to choose the services that these churches are performing for their customers. And you look for their campus, their social activities, the quality of their programs, the length of the pastor's sermon, the newness of ideas, the diversity of their methods and why not their spiritual and moral standards.

Basically today's churches are divided in "conservative" churches and "progressive" churches (or liberal I might say).

The "conservative" churches are divided in more categories again: the "ultraconservative" and "moderate conservative."

    Disability Insurance Leads
Insurance leads are contact information for a person that may potentially be interested in purchasing insurance. There are many things to be discussed about insurance leads, as outlined below.First of all, it is fundamental to understand that insurance leads usually have only a 7 percent success rate; this is assuming that the leads are supplied from a reliable source. So it’s not hard to understand that the success rate can drop dramatically if you get the leads from an unreliable source. The best tactic would be to purchase small packs of leads from various places. This way, you can have an average success rate for every source that provides you with leads. You can discard those sources that are classified as unreliable, and you can start purchasing large quantities of leads from the trustworthy sources. The quality of the leads actually has to do with the way that they are composed. If they are simply taken from random websites or contact information areas, the success rate can be very low. On the other hand, information collected from call centers can be a very reliable source. You can usually buy insurance leads online. Most of the

Forex Trading - Automated Trading = Automatic Money
Imagine how it would feel to have a program running on your computer day and night slowing adding money to your account. Not bad, eh?Yes, this can happen. First you need to know about some pitfalls before this can become a reality for you.First, there are a number of things that can go wrong when you try this. First of all, if you have the program running on your computer (for example Metatrader), you need to remember, that all of the important things are happening on your computer. If your trade is live, and your computer gets disconnected or crashes, you're in the market without a stop! The stop resides on your computer. The other thing you need to be concerned with is the simple fact that a system that backtested well can blow up in live trading. Any system needs to have some walk-forward testing done. Not doing that can lead to problems. The other thing you need to watch for is the simple fact that any system that seems to perform very well is suspect. If you have a system that (in testing) is making 40% per month, be careful. Those kinds of systems have a way of totally disintegrating in real trading. So, if you want t

Know Your Customers - How Well Do You Really Know Them?
Who are your customers? It is a question I often ask new clients. Can you categorize each of your customers into one of the following categories? Most Valuable Customers (MVC)MVCs are customers who generally give you most of their business now. “You want to retain their business, reward them for their loyalty, and make certain they receive the highest level of service. Train your people to recognize them, understand their value to the company, and anticipate their needs.”Most Growable Customers (MGC)These are the people that do business with you from time to time and are the most likely to become MVCs. They are more difficult to recognize but have huge potential for growth. With some targeted effort you can convert them into MVCs.Below Zero Customers (BZ)This group of customers you know well. They demand the most attention and product the least amount of profits. Some only come in when you have a large sale and then go to the sale table. Develop strategies to recognize them and automate your interactions with them. Free up your time for your MVCs.Internal CustomersYour inte

    SEO Basics - Baby Techniques
For a webpage to get noticed in a search engine string search and come out on top, the page has to essentially be “prepared” to be detected and well-received by the search engine algorithm. As the amount of information grows exponentially, search engines will play a more vital role in keeping order in the World Wide Web. This has prompted increasing numbers of people to rely on search engines even more for their information needs. It simply is a fact that you can find information faster if you use a search engine. What search engine optimizers do then, is to make every effort to make the site considered highly relevant and show up in the top ten listing of their respective search strings. The usual method of SEO is to improve content, and dynamically expand the site with even more relevant data.Unfortunately, unscrupulous SEO’s have also devised ways to cheat the algorithms of search engine to keep themselves on top with low quality or even misleading content. Google, Yahoo and other search engines have fought back by using even more complex algorithms to filter the junk and garbage out of their engines. To properly optimize a web

The moderate churches are those who are struggling to find a bridge between today’s culture and the church. These churches are more open to changes, but are careful to respect the biblical principles and the old values of their belief. These type of churches are more popular and more successful, but they are still not that popular, and they are still labeled as conservative.

The progressive churches are the churches that are adapting everything to the needs of their members or their future members, some of them are going so far that are changing all their past beliefs and practices in order to be relevant for their culture. They are very popular and many of them are mega churches...

So, which are your options as an honest church seeker? The answer is: too many and only a few! How can you make the right decision? Maybe some of you are saying: "I don't have to take this decision very serious. If I don't like this church I'm gonna go to another one. It's like buying something from Wal-Mart, if I don't like it I take it back and take my money..." Maybe others are saying: "I don't need a church at all, I can go in Mall and think about Jesus."

Before I start talking about how to make the right decision in choosing a church, I want to make one thing clear. The result of Jesus' ministry and sacrifice it was THE CHURCH and not a dispersed group of believers. And second we are not talking here about shopping merchandis
