Atricle Dump - Are You Hot, Cold, or Lukewarm?
The Most Important Word In MLM Him, and everyone else for that matter. They thought they really had it together! The people of the church at Laodicea were deceiving only themselves. Jesus said to them, “You do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked...” (vs.17) Jesus went on to tell them they had nothing of real worth, nothing at all that would stand iWhen I ask people what they feel is the most important word in the MLM business, I get many different answers. The most common are: products, commissions. money, opportunity, and sponsoring. I will admit they are all very good choices, but can anyone tell which word is missing, which word is more important than all the rest. The word that is more important than all those words we just mentioned is DUPLICATABLE. Yes,all those other words are meaningless unless our system of business building is duplicatable for the average person. If you are successful because you are mailing 500 tapes per month and placing full page ads in major publications, do you really think what you are doing is duplicatable for the average person ?? Do you think your downline will reach the same level of success that you are enjoying if that is what you are teaching them to do? I don't think so. The average person doesn't have the resources and the know how to conduct such a campaign. All you are doing is building a nice first level for yourself, but you will not be able to keep them. If If You Do This You Will Not Attract Many Women On a scale from 0 to 10 (0 means you are cold and antagonistic toward God and 10 means you are zealously pursuing His will and are totally dependent on Him and His life), where would you place your relationship with Him. Many people would place themselves around a 6 not wanting to be fewer than 5 (which would put them more toward the cold side). But still realizing they aren’t a 9 or 10 (on fire for God). Let’s see what Jesus has to say about this matter:Men are creatures of habit! In almost every aspect of our lives, we know what we like and stick to it. This is especially true when it comes to our dating routine. What do I mean by this?Well if you're like most guys, you probably have a favorite place you frequent to meet women. It could be a local bar or club. Perhaps it's even the Internet. But let me tell you something:If you're going to the same place again and again, then you're hurting your chances of finding more women to date. Here's why...When you get into a routine and ONLY frequent the same places, then you'll probably encounter only familiar women each time. While you sometimes might meet new women, you're drastically reducing your chances of finding new ones to approach. After awhile, you'll probably end up in a situation where you've literally talked to every available woman. Once this happens, your "Attracting Women Game" will reach a point of stagnation. To avoid this, you HAVE to change up your routine. In other words, you should develop the pat “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” (Rev 3:15-16) Jesus spoke these words to the church in Laodicea. Laodicea was a chief city in Phrygia on the Lycus River, and one of the richest cities in Asia. Its inhabitants were an industrious people who produced their own coins and fared very well in the trading business. Around 64 A.D., the region was destroyed by an earthquake. Many neighboring cities had to appeal to the Roman government for aid - but not the Laodiceans. They were wealthy enough to rebuild for themselves. This earthly wealth and ability produced a spirit of pride in the hearts of the Laodiceans, for they said “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing...” (vs.17) In regard to need, these people expressed, in word and deed, a self-sufficiency apart from God and indifference toward Him, and everyone else for that matter. Let’s see what Jesus has to say about this matter:The Hero's Journey (Monomyth) is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on this 188+ stage template.Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you are to succeed in the craft.[The terminology is most often metaphoric and applies to all successful stories and screenplays, from The Godfather (1972) to Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) to Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) to Apocaplyse Now (1979)].THERE IS ONLY ONE STORYTHE HERO'S JOURNEY:a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.c) Gives you a tangible process for building and releasing dissonance (establishing and “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. They thought they really had it together! The people of the church at Laodicea were deceiving only themselves. Jesus said to them, “You do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked...” (vs.17) Jesus went on to tell them they had nothing of real worth, nothing at all that would stand in His presence. He advised them to buy some true, eternal treasure from Him. His price, no doubt, was their pride, their rebellion, and their independence - which was their lives!First you found a killer, then you did a great science project. Now, you've got to write it all up to compete in your science fair.Your written report is the single most important part of any science fair project. A well-written report can make a pathetic project look pretty good, and a good project look exceptional. By the same token, a poorly written report is certain to sink even Nobel Prize-quality work. It's a simple equation. The winners know how to write up their science fair project reports in a way that shows off their know-how and impresses the judges. So when developing your report, here's a little friendly advice from a guy who once had over a million monthly readers in Scientific American magazine.Know this! Writing is all about communicating ideas clearly. Your goal should be for the information that you present to flow effortlessly from the page into the reader's mind without the reader's head ever snapping back. Your readers should absorb your prose effortlessly as fast as their brains can decipher the words. In fact, your readers should loo Their condition was a sad one, indeed. In vs. 20 of that chapter Jesus says,” Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears My voice and opens the door I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” What a pitiful scene! Jesus standing outside, not at the door of the heart of an unbeliever (as has been depicted by many), but worse than that, He’s standing and knocking at the door of His own church! All doubt about that is erased in vs.22, where it says,”...he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Oh dear brethren, this same scene is repeated in this very day. So many of us manifest lukewarm indifference to God, and to the things of God, in much of our speaking and doing. We, as a people, are so self-sufficient and independent - especially here in America. Many of us have placed such an emphasis on earthly treasures - not just money - but also on other temporal things such as intellectual capability, physical beauty, popularity, and lustful pleasure, that our lives also resound with that proud, arrogant Laodicean lie, “I have need of nothing.” Oh sure, we may go to church and tithe, we may say the right, glib “churchy” sayings and sing the songs1. We may even have a me
