Celebrate Entrepreneurship - Our Future Will Depend on Us and Not Corporate America! Is it really that easy? If so, I have been doing it the hard way for years. Or, is it just some people think they know how to do our job better than we do? I like to refer to As a business coach, I take small business very seriously. Small business and entrepreneurs can have a major impact on individuals, families and communities. So, in my mind small business is big business to me! My passion is to help entrepreneurs build profitable and successful businesses! My goal is to generate more revenue and profit for my clients!Why am I so passionate? It reminds me of early childhood. From birth to fourteen years old, I lived in the projects in Detroit, Michiga Are You Getting in Your Own Way? (A Marketing Insensitive) Am I the only one that does not have an “A” button on my computer? I have looked on the keyboard, monitor and hard drive I can not find that darn thing anywhere. Nobody will tell me where it is.If you are not seeing the sales and marketing results that you desire you might want to take a hard look at your communication style for both spoken and written communications. You could be getting in your own way.Think about your goal in every communication you have with a prospect or customer. Then look at how you communicate with that prospect or customer. The usual response I get at this point is, “yeah, you can get on the Internet and hit “A” button and- poof! - you can find anybody.” Sound familiar? Is it really that easy? If so, I have been doing it the hard way for years. Or, is it just some people think they know how to do our job better than we do? There has been a proliferation in the number of infomercials promoting such products that reflect an increasing consciousness among people about their dietary habits and lifestyle.Diet product infomercials promise amazing new discoveries and ingredients that are sometimes too good to be true. They try to win and reinforce the confidence of viewers by examining their lifestyle and dietary preferences. The Is it really that easy? If so, I have been doing it the hard way for years. Or, is it just some people think they know how to do our job better than we do? I like to refer to When Marketing to The New Middle Aged - Stop and Listen to Your Heart ple that owe money. Sometimes over reliance on historical data can lead us in the wrong direction. When marketing to people in the new middle aged group (NMA), those in their fifties and sixties, sometimes we have to stop and listen to our hearts.NMA people rely heavily on their instincts, emotions and their faith. That’s what we marketers of products and services have to do when we are dealing with them. That’s what we should do when we are trying to sell them Is it really that easy? If so, I have been doing it the hard way for years. Or, is it just some people think they know how to do our job better than we do? I like to refer to this group of people as “they”.Call centers in India sprang up in early 2001, and since then have become a big industry. The number of incoming phone calls has also increased due to the increase in the amount of clients.India first benefited from the offshoring trend as it has a large pool of English speaking and technically proficient manpower. India's offshoring industry took roots in low-end IT functions in the early 1990s, and has since moved to back-office processes such as call centers and transaction processing. I I think that there are a few things that “they” do not understand. “They” don’t realize that we have only 4 tools- the telephone, the computer, our minds and each other. We then take these tools and use them in various combinations much like a surgeon to dissect mountains of information until we find our debtor. “They” don’t understand the multitude of laws such as the FDCPA, FCRA, GLB and others that guide our searches because of the fear of what we could do with this gained knowledge. “They” do not understand that we can take social security number and just by looking at it we can determine that any SSN that begins with 000 or ends with 000
