For those of us who are new online, let us raise our right hands and swear:

We will not forward any dumb joke, chain letter or unimportant e-mails to my friends without their permission.

We realize that by doing so we may fill up their inbox, use others’ resources unnecessarily, and may cause other, important e-mail to bounce.

We realize that most people have already gone through these e-mails a thousand times and find them annoying.

We know that by forwarding these so called humorous e-mails we may tick off people who do not share my sense of humor or who are sick of having silly e-mails forwarded to them each time a newbie hops online.

So now that we have taken an oath so solemnly, we will no longer be tempted to forward those jokes, untruthful or frivolous e-mail that instruct you to forward them to your friends! We do not want to look silly and uninformed before the whole world! Do we? Let us read them if curiosity vanquishes reason but then let us hit ‘Delete’. Nothing can really happen to us simply by our forwarding the e-mail to 10 friends, can it?

Beware of hoax e-mails too! These may appear good-intentioned with an incredible story that instructs you to “read and share” with everyone you know but it’s a good idea to first check to see if the story is legitimate in the first place. Not doing so can have you eating crow when everyone you e-mail is informed, you just forwarded a hoax without knowing better. It’s no use getting mad at someone afterwards if they hold you re

Even the Lone Ranger Needs a Posse
Who was that masked man?In the “olden days”, salespeople also roamed their territory, shooting from the hip to sell their product. Lone Rangers themselves, they aimed for a quick hit and hard close to get the deal. And working alone, they were the sole point of contact with the client’s representative. If either contact moved on, the account was at risk, or in the least, valuable time and momentum were lost.Riding into the sunsetFast forward to 2006, where qui

Financing Your Business by Factoring Invoices
Waiting 30, 40 or even 60 days to get invoices paid can be a major challenge for any business owner. Although the work has been completed and delivered, the payment will come in weeks. In the meantime, the business has to pay employees, rent and regular expenses. If your business has a substantial cash reserve, this should not be a major problem. But, what if your business doesn't have substantial cash reserve? Many owners will try to get a business loan. But that won't help. Why? Because
