What Do You Do For A Living?
When someone asks, “What do you do for a living?” How do you answer? Do you say, “I work for XYZ Company and have a home based business.” Or do you say “I work from home?” and leave out the day job part or something similar? Or even worse, you fail to mention your home based business at all? If you’re new to Network Marketing/MLM; I’m betting you say you work for XYZ Company and my network marketing company or you fail to mention your business at all. It’s a tough habit to break. I know it was for me. I went to a Chamber of Commerce Breakfast at Teddy Gentry’s (of the group Alabama) farm a few years ago and as I was introducing myself to people, I noticed myself saying “And”. This thought has stuck with me for all these years as I think about why some people succeed
idea of getting a 9-5 job mad me unhappy. Life is too short to spend the majority of it cooped up in a cubicle, counting the minutes until Friday at 5:00pm. All so you can get the heck out of there and start doing things you wanted to do all week.

Yes-You Can Have a Fundraiser Where You Keep 100 Percent of the Money Raised!
Fundraising is a part of the fabric of our culture. Whether you are on a church board, the local soccer club, school PTA, or have a child in school, you’ve probably been asked to participate or sit in on a meeting where money must be raised. It turns out that you need something that has not been allowed for in the regular budget. So, you begin to scan the Internet for cash-generating opportunities that someone can start rather quickly. Then the reality of how much you will actually receive kicks in. Oops! The problem involves the act of selling a product and, for all your trouble, the fact that you only receive 50% or less for the school or small group. Besides the issue of the percentage that makes it to charity, there are the various forms, samples, and the collectin
Ah, the bliss of waking up when you want, going to the gym and coming back home to realize while you were gone for an hour or so, your computer made you $75. There is something about making money while I am doing what I want that really makes me happy.

I think back to when I was in high school (which was not all that long ago, as I am only 26 years old) and all the teachers taught us that we needed to go to college so we can get a good job. Don’t get me wrong, all kids should try to experience college. If not for the high paying job, simply for the light shedding experience it brings your life. Being from a small town, I never would have gotten to live with the types of people I lived with, go to the places I went, and frankly drinks as many beers as I did! If nothing more, college makes you a more rounded person. However, it is sad to see that there is a massive lack of entrepreneurial spirit. Perhaps maybe this was my particular University, but the many people I spoke with before writing this article tend to agree. The major lesson is the same as high school. Learn as much as you can about a particular field so you can get a good job and make somebody else rich. I can’t help but wonder how different this world would be if more people were taught to think outside the box and start there own businesses.

Fortunately enough for me, I was always thinking just a little different from most of my friends. The idea of getting a 9-5 job mad me unhappy. Life is too short to spend the majority of it cooped up in a cubicle, counting the minutes until Friday at 5:00pm. All so you can get the heck out of there and start doing things you wanted to do all week.

    Who Loves Statistics?
Statistics, the word almost makes me cringe as it is a reminder of all the hard work I had to do to finish my degree. I do not think that it is statistics per se but it is the fact that I had to create the numbers from formulas. In business, statistics are generated from asking the right questions and instead of doing all the calculations, the software takes over and you see the immediate results. Statistics breathe life into websites and marketing departments. Everything you do needs to be measured. You should measure each marketing campaign to find out what is working. You should measure where internet visitors come from and how they got to your site. And you should measure what pages they visited, how long they stayed, and what page they exited from. Measure, mea

How To Go Perpendicular In Your Sales Territory
First and foremost are you thinking Strategically? “Do you have what it takes to do what it takes?”1. Did you achieve all of your personal goals in 2004?2. Did you achieve all of your professional goals in 2004?3. Did you have double-digit sales growth in 2004?4. Are you expecting to achieve double-digit growth during 2005?5. If not why not? (You’ll need some QUIETIME for this one)If the skills you used during 2004 weren't sufficient to enable you to over achieve your sales plan what makes you think last year’s selling skills will enable you to achieve your sales plan during 2005?What's needed is some radical thinking - let me explain. One of the best ways to outfox the competition is to stop thinking like them. For example, y

The worst part about the whole “work” thing is most people barely make enough money to pay their bills, let alone live the life that they want. In fact most people not only can’t pay their current debts, but they are actually sinking deeper and deeper with each passing year. They resort to paying bills with credit cards completing the vicious circle.

First off, lets give a basic definition of what is means to be financially free. Financial freedom comes when you no longer have to worry about money. You are making more money from you passive streams of income than you are spending. You can basically live off of your investments. It’s sounds clich?, but the best way to describe it is like a money tree. You can pick off some fruit when you need it, and it will grow back more. While more fruit is growing, you are planting seeds for other money trees. Eventually with some hard work, you will have a self sufficient money forest! With a little care, and some tending, it will continue to flourish and increase in size. Why is it that some people are able to break the mold and become financially free, while other struggle to get by. Well, there are many reasons, and methods for becoming financially free but there is almost always one common denominator. The common denominator is “Leverage.” You see there is not enough time in the day to get there with only one small stream of income from you job. You would have to work around the clock. Constantly working to make money is not freedom. You will never have time to enjoy it
