When is a Yellow Page Consultant Not Your Consultant?
It’s strictly a matter of semantics. Notice the difference between “a” and “your.” It makes all the difference in the world. Let me explain. But first a word about my background.I was a Yellow Page consultant for almost 25 years. During my tenure, I advised various businesses on planning their programs. It involved recommending headings, sizes, directories, layouts, headlines, and other elements that could ultimately spell success or failure. These peo
Mistake Number Two: "Choosing Products to Promote Before Finding a Hungry Market to Promote Them To"

This is a biggie folks. It truly is.

I see people (myself included) that keep making this mistake over & over. The key to realize here is that's like putting your socks on after you've put your shoe on first. You're doing the right things but doing them in the wrong order.

I often stumble across I product that seems really awesome for some particular reason and I immediately find myself wanting to start promoting it. I bet this happens to you too, right?

So now we start running around putting together all of our wonderful ways of marketing this little gem. We build our own website for the product, carefully craft a really killer little AdWords marketing plan and take our little show live. We get our AdWords campaign running and sit back and wait for the sales, only to be disappointed when they don't come.

And then we scream "Why aren't I getting any sales?"

Maybe my site's bad and doesn't excite the buyer enough to get them to want to buy. Or maybe I'm not getting enough clicks because my AdWords spend isn't high enough. All sorts of different reasons start popping up in your mind, right?

Well my friend, just how do you know if there really is a market for whatever little whiz-bang you've decided to sell? Maybe you're not making any sales because nobody is really interested in buying whatever it is you're selling.

    Ever think of that?

Your Affiliate Marketing success is based on people buying the products that you have chosen to promote, right? Well it doesn't matter if you're selling the world's best mouse trap or not. If nobody's interested in buying, you're not making any commissions.

    Find your market first.

It's called Niche Marketing and the way that it is done is to do your research on markets first and then after you've found a market where its members are like people in the desert dying of thirst, you can start raking in the sales selling them water.

    Does this make any sense?

OK so now you might be wondering just how you go about this "finding a hot market" stuff. Well, one of the things that I found that really helped me to be able to attack this issue was an ebook called "Desperate Buyers Only" written by a lady named Alexis Davis.

This 99 page ebook is not fluff. This lady knows what she's doing and she will literally take you by the hand and show you how to find hungry markets. If you are at a loss for how to find a hungry market to promote to grab a copy of this ebook.

One of the sections in the ebook sums up the entire ebook: How To choose Topics That Attract Readers Like Bees To Honey - (It has NOTHING to do with "Doing What You Love")

This is the type of knowledge you need to find those elusive customers and Alexis will show you how to do it right!

    What to Wear to Work
As some of you are recent college grads, I understand that you have become accustomed to literally rolling out of bed and grabbing anything off the floor or out the hamper and going to class. And it was great, wasn’t it? But you know what? You can’t continue to dress that way when you get a job in the corporate work world.Recently it has become clear to me that some of you twentysomethings don’t know what’s appropriate to wear to an interview or in the workplace. And I am by no mea

Exhibitions, Tradeshows And Events - The Single Most Important Ingredient To Your Success
There is ONE central idea, one key concept that I want you to understand. If you get this right, your show (exhibition or event) will reward you with customers buying what you have to sell. If you DON'T get this right, you'll be paying a fortune for next to nothing, your competitors will eat you up, and your whole exhibiting experience will be very, very unpleasant. The one thing that you must do right now long before the show, is to...Set Objectives! There are

The Highway That Makes Turnarounds Possible
Product life-cycles are shortening, with new products hitting the market faster and faster. At the same time, consumers are spending more time on the Internet looking for products and services, and seeking out suppliers who can deliver them with maximum value at a competitive price. This is a tough, challenging situation that should scare complacent businesses. But it offers exciting opportunities for smart business people who recognize the need to understand the external business envir
