The Basics of Selling Your Unwanted Stuff on Ebay
Selling on EBay isn't very hard, it just takes a little time to learn, and patience. It is a good way to get rid of things you no longer want, because chances are, someone out in cyberspace would love to buy it from you. It's a learning process, the more you sell, the easier it is. After awhile, it is so easy, you can practically submit ads with your eyes closed (well, almost.) Here's the basics in a nutshell.Set up an accountIt is free to set up an account on Ebay. Just follow the prompts where it says "seller" or "sign up for a seller's account" and Ebay will walk you though
When I first started selling on eBay. I spent a lot of my time trying to come up with great descriptions for my items. I would use a thesaurus and try to craft the most evocative descriptions to entice potential bidders to bid on my items. Yet, my auctions consistently ended, selling for much less than similar items listed by my competitors. I decided to do what Jay Abraham suggests, realizing that there is usually enough business to go around, you can learn a lot by talking to your competitors. So I took the plunge and actually offered to pay a fellow seller of children’s clothing on eBay to tell me what I was doing wrong with my eBay listings.

She took the offer and the money and her critique of my auction made me a hundred times over the $50.00 that it cost me. One of the things that she told me was “take more pictures of your item; a picture means everything in a listing, while words are just words”.

Although I found that statement a little strange, I understood just what she meant. I began putting more and more pictures into my listing. I saw my ending prices double on the items that I was selling just from that one change.

In this article I am not going to address the basics of taking pictures. I am going to concentrate on the finer points of creating photographs that make your items sell. I assume that you have a digital camera and know how to use it. If not, there are many, many great tutorials on the web about how to digital camera that will get you up to speed in no time

    How To Answer Employee Surveys
It's not only customer service that businesses are concerned about. Everyone knows that a business is only as good as its employees. Clearly, hiring good employees is the key to a good business. Of course, hiring them is a different matter from keeping them, and a more crucial one at that. So don't be surprised if a notice or memo about employee surveys is making rounds in your office. Your employer just wants to gauge your satisfaction about the company. But more than simple yes/no options, employee surveys are meant to gauge your interest in staying with the company. Corporate longevity is

Where Should the First Franchise of the World Franchise System Be?
An organization needs to be formed in order to help emerging nations come into the first world and alleviate some of the unbelievable strife and horrific human living conditions the people there face. Independent Distributor Business Ownership
Independent distributors should own the business. Well not in the usual sense, at least initially, but if you are told,as a worker,to do this or do that...then if things work really depends on your attitude. For example,if you are given a recommendation to ring someone up, and maybe welcome them for their sign up,then this is when psychologically owning the business will help. How are you going say your welcome? Is it a chore, are you just feeling that it has to be done? Is it going to sound or even feel heartfelt?Never could work out why some staff just never could talk to people in

I have found that an effective presentation method is to use a 2 column table in my listings. It allows the portion of the description that addresses an important feature of the item to be directly adjacent to a picture of that feature.

Creating a table requires the use of html but you can get a basic table template from a tutorial on the web. Take pictures of the item from all angles: Real life happens in 3-D, the web is strictly a 2-dimensional medium, take all sides, top and bottom of the item. It makes your bidders comfortable by showing them that you have nothing to hide. Take a picture of any extras included with the item. If there are any accessories, spare parts, or instructional manuals that you plan to include with the item be sure to include a picture of them.

Take honest pictures and don’t over edit them: Let your bidders see pictures of any flaws that the item may have. After all, they will see the flaws when the item is delivered, so you may as well avoid any bad feedback you will undoubtedly by honestly describing and showing any flaws the item may have. Stay away from over-processing, enhancing and doctoring the photos in Photoshop, as well.

Don’t opt for scanning image when you can use a digital camera. Unless you are selling an item that is flat, like a document or postcard, etc., don’t scan the item. It will look much better if you take a picture with your camera.

Take your pictures at an angle. Don’t stage the photo such that you are squarely in front of it. You will end up with a picture that shows some depth if you position the item so that you are mostly showing one angle but you can also see an adjacent side if the angle in the viewfinder as well.

Frame the picture within your camera’s viewfinder so that you capture as little background as possible for the item. Unless your item is a complete rectangle, some background will show when you photograph your items. Try and minimize the amount of “non-item’ that you display in your listing, by taking tight photos. Avoid too much background behind the items you are photographing.

These tips will help you make the best possible presentation of your item. You should see an increase in bids if you employ these tips. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like a free critique of your photo
