How to use the World's Easiest & Most Effective Headline Format to Turbo Charge Your Business
Did you notice the title for this article?Of course, it's a headline. That's right and it uses a shop-worn classic format which still continues to amaze me with its power. Just 2 simple words..."How To..." Stick with me on this, I know it sounds too easy. The simple, lowly "How to" headline is still tops in my book for simplicity and effectiveness. You really cannot go wrong with it. The 'how to' headline is so versatile. You can follow it with several benefits, a question

How to Avoid the Line Extension Trap
If you follow the prevailing logic of most modern companies, you will inevitably fall into this trap. Line extension is using an existing brand name or image and extending it to new products. Sounds like a good idea, right? Why not use the equity of your known brand to draw attention to a new product? The reason is that you tend to confuse customers as to what your brand means, and in the long run this strategy decreases overall market share. For example, in 1978 7UP was the lemon l
I thought it might be good to talk about a few of my likes and dislikes about email advertising. I have picked up a few good pointers over the years. Even though a lot of these may be known or said before they are worth repeating.

After all the whole idea is get people to read your emails( not DELETE) in the hope that they will sign up or buy whatever you are promoting.

    1) One of the first things you are going to want to do is make sure you don't go across in your email more than 65 characters a line. There are 2 reasons for this and the first is what is known as "eye fatigue".What this means is if the person reading has to go across too far to the right the reader loses interest. The second reason is some email clients have what is called line wrapping which means your message will come out all garbled if it is over 65 characters.

How to Find Your True Vocation
Children by the millions start their life’s path with no certain destination. Take a small toy engine, wind it up and see it run without a track and it smashes into anything that crosses its path. Most people, early in life start out on life’s journey aimlessly without the right goal. These sleepwalking people never know or understand what parts to play successfully on the stage of life. Start with your childhood to your present life carefully analyzing yourself so you will not be sidetracked

How To Break Free of the Help Desk
In today's saturated IT industry, there are many capable employees who find themselves stuck in a help desk position. Many of these people have college degrees and even some more advanced certifications to their credit. Still, for many of these people, they are unable to find a way to break out of this entry-level IT position and avoid career stagnation.I am going to share with you five key strategies that have allowed me to stand out in this sea of similarly qualifi

Discover the 3 Essential, and 1 Optional, Elements That Guarantee More Appointments
There it is again. Your biggest hurdle to getting appointments. The telephone seems to be sitting there on your desk mocking you as if it knows you just hate to pick it up and use it to ask for an appointment with your prospects. You wish you had some way to make the experience of lead generation more enjoyable by sending something out to your prospect first and yet you know that most of your efforts have been costly, time-consuming, and ineffective. It’s now another Monday and you have to fi

Affiliate Program Sales Techniques You Can Use
There are two different types of affiliate program sales that super affiliates constantly have to think about. Firstly they have to generate product or service sales of the affiliate program that they have joined. Secondly they have to think of the sales that will accrue from recruiting sub affiliates in their programs. The two different types of affiliate program sales need constant attention and the implementation of good selling systems or techniques if a super affiliate is to keep o

    2) Next thing is avoid using all capitals. When a person uses all capitals on the internet it is considered shouting and nobody likes shouting all the time. Gilbert Godfrey shouts all the time and at first it is funny but then you come to expect it and eventually he's not funny anymore. So be creative. The odd CAPITALIZED word can add variety however, and can make a product or benefit stand out in your email.

    3) The next thing after that is one of my personal pet peeves.
I can't stand emails that are full of bad grammar.Bad spelling doesn't hurt your professional image it flat out DESTROYS it. It makes me think the guy on the other end can't be bothered to proof read his email
