    Google AdWords Clobbers Affiliate Sellers
First, we must understand their point of view. Unlike some other search engines, Google is committed to providing the best quality search results possible. That is an admirable effort, and they are certainly not setting out to do harm to their loyal advertisers who bring them millions in ad revenue each month. However, a new AdWords regulation will put a crimp on those marketers who run ads using an affiliate URL as a landing page.Google's reasoning is this. For any keyword search, a good sized portion of AdWord results has, at least until now, consisted of affiliate ads promoting identical seller sites. Here is an example. Before the Holidays, this writer searched Google for the term "chocolate." Of the ten AdWords listings returned on the first page, three were affiliate ads promoting Dans.com, a chocolate maker in Vermont USA. Another ad on the same page belonged to Dan himself. From Google's viewpoint, and

Build Credibility With an Email Course
When you are an expert, you sometimes forget that others don't know as much as you do. Not only do you understand your topic at a higher level, but you also know what's important for a novice to know. By providing your insight to those at a basic level, you can save them time in learning and applying their newly acquired knowledge. So how do you share your expert information with prospects and clients in order to showcase your expertise while providing them with desired knowledge? Why not offer a course via email? Your course will consist of several lessons, delivered at pre-set intervals. You'll compose the lessons once so that you're ready to deliver them to anyone who signs up for the course. Now won't that be a bear to administer, you ask? Not if you use one of the online services that is designed to do this. This category of service is called a sequential autoresponder. There are several services to choose from. <
Many people would agree that having alot of links to your website is the key to rank well in all search engines. As Search Engine Optimisation becomes more popular, everybody tries to come up with new ways to get as many links as possible when designing websites. Link exchange is just one of the many techniques.

    Introduction To Link Exchange

Link exchange is one of the earliest and most popular SEO technique among smaller websites to get inbound links (urls pointing to your website). Basically, what a web master does is to exchange urls of his website with another website. There are a few variations to link exchange, ie it could be 2-way, 3-way, 4-way...etc. 2-way link exchange means site A exchange links with site B (This is the most common definition of link exchange). 3-way means A link to B, B link to C, and C link to A. You could figure out the rest of the variations easily...

The most complex link exchange today is a Link Exchange Network. In the network, you post a url of another website in your site and the server will post your url in another person's website based on a merit or point system. There are also people who incorporate the idea of MLM into link exchange, turning the whole linking system into a pyramid. Why the hassle? The whole idea is not to let the search spiders detect your linking strategies.

    Link Exchange Is Often Abused

Search engines want to display the most relevant search results with the most important websites ranked first. If the number of links pointing to the website is the only criteria to determine the importance of the website, then search engine results could be manipulated easily. Nobody knows the exact Google, MSN or Yahoo ranking algorithm but we do know that Google especially, take strong measures to prevent people from manipulating search ranking results.

Many small companies are often blamed for manipulating search results because they are able to get alot of inbound links without spending any money using the link exchange technique. The link exchange boom makes everybody to post and exchange links in blogs, link directories and affliate pages... Opt In List Building - How to Create a Squeeze Page
I am assuming here that you have a basic understanding of how to create web pages and I am generally guessing that if you do not have a web site of your own, that you realize the importance of getting one.So I am going to start with the premise that you already have a web site.So to create a squeeze page, you need to have a headline for your squeeze page that will go on the top of the page. This headline should be directly related to the benefit potential subscribers would receive by opting in to your email list. For example, if I were creating a dog-owners’ email list, my headline might read “How to Train Your Dog to Sit in 10 Minutes Flat”. This is going to guarantee that the people who are most likely to read this page are dog owners or dog lovers.Next, you will create a list of bullets that tell what joining the list would do for the subscribers. For example, sticking with the dog example, this bulleted list m

How To Make Money On Internet Easily With Forums
One of the biggest turning points since I began Internet marketing has been my discovery of the online forums (or discussion groups or bulletin boards as they are also called). There are 4 major reasons why people use forums1) You can get free advice. For exampleask about any aspect of marketing ask for opinions about a product before purchasing or about a business opportunity or affiliate program you plan to join ask for a site review2) You can discover new products, ideas, tips, tools3) You can make contact with others, and possibly set up joint ventures. You will find many helpful people and many of the top names posting at forums.4) Site promotion. When you make postings you can include your signature or a link to your site. If you have provided helpful answers or useful information readers 'may' decide to visit your site. There are techniques to turn 'may' into 'will very likely', which you wi

Great Waiters are Not Born - They're Made (Part 3)
Restaurants rely on good food and quality customer service to retain loyal customers and succeed in a competitive industry.Food and beverage serving and related workers who exhibit excellent personal qualities—such as a neat clean appearance, a well-spoken manner, an ability to work as a member of team, and a pleasant way with patrons—will be highly sought after. In many fine-dining restaurants where more complicated meals are prepared and often served over several courses waiters provide a more formal service. This takes some skill and is known as ‘full silver service’, emphasizing personal, attentive treatment at an elegant and leisurely pace. This is when an exceptional waiter needs a good memory to avoid confusing customers’ orders and to recall faces, names, and preferences of food requirements of frequent patrons.Presentation is important in this type of establishment and it's important that waiters present themselves ne

Review of Ad Blaster by Mega Promoter
In 2005, I was a new and inexperienced internet marketer looking for ways to drive traffic to my web site. I came across the Adblaster by MegaPromoter, the site promised to instantly and effectivelysubmit my websites to over 2,500,000 internet advertising sites and search engines. It sounded very promising to me, so much so, that I immediately whipped out my credit card and purchased Adblaster. Basically, all I needed to do was enter my website address and hit submit, and I could see a little bar going across the computer screen as if it was indeed sending my websites to the 2,500,000 sites and search engines. This piece of software did not even bring 1% of the traffic that it promised me and it was a complete waste of my time and money. I felt that I had been taken and lied to and I was very disappointed.Later I learned that the Adblaster by MegaPromoter really only submits to ffa pages and that ff

Even if you can get 1000 links overnight, does it really mean that your website is important? Does the amount of links pointing to your website really equate to the importance of your website? These are debatable tough questions which is hard to answer in a short time.

    Is Link Exchange Ethical?

Many people believe that Google and Yahoo have already started penalising web sites that does link exchange in a large scale but we do not know the extend of it. In my opinon, it is very hard to justify whether link exchange is ethical or not. Everyone will have a case to say but generally, all of us would agree that websites that get large amounts of links within a short time, has many outbound and inbound links to and from many unrelated websites are trying to manipulate search results but again, there can be exceptions.

It does not make sense to me to punish website A, B or/and C if they are practising 2, 3 or whatever ways link exchange; doesn't matter if their websites are related or not. There are many real life examples. If my friend Andy is web designer and he has a web design blog and another friend of mine Joe loves swimming and he has a swimming blog. Both of the sites are totally different in nature but they are friends and they want to link to each other. If this is not permissible in the SEO context, then it will be a sad news for everyone of us.

Search Engines Is Evolving But SEO Travels Back In Time

Search engines, like human being, are evolving everyday. they are getting more intelligent and are able to pick up websites that are trying to hack the ranking system. With enough computing power and time, I believe they would one day be able to detect more complex linking systems. Many experts believe that search engines are too clever to be manipulated and started advocating "Natural Search Engine Optimisation" - NSEO. The word "Natural" is important because it means that you are trying to optimise your website legally. In NSEO, you write content naturally, link to pages naturally and so on. To withstand the test of time, the practise of NSEO is highly rec
